Yeah water quality does make a big difference. I'm fortunate that the water quality here is really good Although I know in Stafford I switched to weak squash because the tap water was pretty average.

Amazing how quickly your body adjusts to drinking water though!

I don't know if it will help but one very odd thing I've noticed... if I have water in a glass I tend to just get through that glass very slowly. If it's in a squirty bottle though I galumph it and then need more!

No idea why! I like squash stuff! Don't really like fizzy drinks although enjoy a good fake gin and tonic by just having sugar free tonic and a squish of lemon!

Milk is good for you too! I try and have a glass a day! And if I can afford it I will always try and have a glass of freshly squuuuuueeeeeeeezzed orange juice

I drink about 2-3L of water daily, love the stuff!

We've had a bottle of coke in our house for weeks now (it came free with our monthly take away) - I don't think anyone's going to drink it - anybody want a bottle a coke?

I quite like the sugar free cordials you can buy - I think robinsons are the blue capped ones which have no added sugar. But I dilute it looooads so a bottle of squash lasts several months for me.

Check the sugar content. They are often loaded with the stuff and a glass can be 25-30% of your daily sugar intake.

Yeah I'm not impressed by the sugar/ calories in juice.

I have a juicer so perhaps I should make my own

I'm a bit of a tart when it comes to hot drinks - I'll drink pretty much anything. I'll have tea with milk in the morning and then, through the day, I'll have coffee, herbal tea and normal tea. I quite like fennel tea and nettle tea.

As far as cold drinks go, I usually drink water. Like Will, I use a Brita filter as I'm not all that keen on all the crap they put in the water and I'll occasionally squeeze some limes into it to liven it up a bit. I very very rarely drink fizzy drinks. If I fancy a change, I'll have some grapefruit juice (the proper squeezed stuff, not the stuff made from concentrate).
