I loved Robin Hood/Merlin but love this too, however, it has a much different feel to it imo.

One of the creative brains behind Sherlock is Stephen Moffatt who wrote several Dr Who episods in the Davies era and has since taken on his role as Exec Producer.
Since every other BBC Saturday evening licence fee sink has tried to clone the Dr Who formula it's not surprising they all start to seem the same. Just to buck the trend I thought the second was a slight improvement over the first. How many oppurtunites does Martin Freeman get to play 'Tim-but slightly older' before the offers dry up completely?
