In a straight line, definitely. In the twisty bits, yours has the advantage being a rev3 - they'd improved the suspension somewhat from the rev1 (which mine is) which makes it more stable in the bends. Yours should be slightly better in the wet as well. With the extra power and the twitchier suspension, mine can be a bitch in the wet. Not long after I got it, I gave it a bit too much right foot coming off a roundabout in the wet. This caused severe fishtailing - pucker factor was high at the time iirc
