Never had a tumble dryer - clothes stand and a couple of over radiator hooks and sheets and towels go over the bannisters ... (Aitch and MB's fault for being so tall ... )

you can get those balls for about 1.50/pair in discount stores like bodycare/home bargains/instore. I couldn't live without my tumble dryer, supersoft sweet smelling warm bedsheets and towels, which always dry crispy without tumbling (or smell funny), bliss! Love putting jumpers in for a minute before putting them on, snuggly!
Think mines a hotpoint, A rating and was sub~200.

And if you hang your clothes up straight away, there's no need to iron anything

Clothes take longer to dry properly than we can afford to leave them, more washing builds up quicker than they can dry. You know what model it is, Kitten? Mostly because hotpoint don't appear to have an A rated one http://www.hotpoint.co.uk/hotpoint/2...Mode/catalogo/ I've not found a decent A rated one for sub £350 yet.
