I've seen the first one on a 6" seat back tv on a plane. Thought it was ok, which usually means on a proper tele it's great Must get around to watching them properly.

I liked the Bourne Identity, it had a Mini and Matt Damon in it. I didn't realise there were books (I'm so uncultured). /goes to find books...

The films are definitely something different to the books though. I watched the films first and I thought they were truly excellent films - the idea of the assassin tracking his past whilst avoiding those who were once his peers is brilliant, and the scenario in the second film is just as good.

However the books are something else entirely. A totally different Jason Bourne, and something which must be enjoyed as something separate from the films. A few similarities, yes - but definitely a different story. Those who have read and watched will know what I mean

The films are amazing in my opinion, action films you can see almost being true.

Can't wait for the next one

I love the Bourne films, as it's not over the top action like you often in films like James Bond, it's believable action all the way. The fight in the first film in Jason Bourne's apartment is brilliant. You can totally believe that they're two highly trained assassins going at it, not the usual spinny kicks you might see in other films. It also made me fear a man wielding a pen in a menacing manner.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
