When i was at the vets the other day the vet stuck his head out the door and shouted " Rocky ? "..... silence.......
" Is Rocky the Hamster here ? " Some dude stood up with a shoe box. I pissed myself and shouted "Great name dude" whislt everyone else laughed at me and Rocky the Hamster. |

I watched this the other weekend, and I wasn't all that much impressed. I still don't entirely understand why he got back in the ring, what the real motivation behind it was. Seemed to me to be just some anger management. Some of the film was good, some of the acting as laughable as oft before, but nothing that really made me think at the end of it "This was worth my time". It didn't feel like a complete waste however, unlike some films when I really wonder why I bothered buying tickets for it.

Enjoyed it, and thought it finished off the series really well and hit exactly the right note.

watched it fri night, was really good, ,
in an interview with Sly he said that the studio wanted him to have a bit of a gut and to not train more than he usually does in order to represent the average bloke (yeah, right!) but 5 weeks before shooting he decided to get in shape for the movie and worked out for 6½ hours a day, 6 days a week to look like that... bloody good work in 5 weeks if you ask me. he must've been pretty fit to start with though. Sly also said that in his prime he could bench-press 385lbs, so i didnt belive he could really press the weight in the film, it was 6 x 45kg ! - 270kgs :P |
