Yeah I saw that, I think it was Hugh Fearnley-Dunkingstool's Offal Cottage or whatever his program is. Looked bloody good.

Thats the one! He was in an old cottage/barn thingy. Oh, and he smoked his own bacon by building a smoker.

my brother has his cookbook
all the recipes are just as nuts as the suggestions on the programme
definitely a great cookery book to use if you want to impress guests with your originality!

I've told Leon that I'll cook it as long as he peels it... I'm not peeling no bird

I've also had pigeon whilst we were in Estonia, and bloody nice it was too. Tonnes of bones though, the pesky critters!!

I'd try it, but I think I'd try anything that hadn't once been my pet

I would not, could not, in a box.
I could not, would not, with a fox.
I would not eat it with a mouse.
I would not eat it in a house.
I would not eat it here or there.
I would not eat it anywhere.

Depends how desperate for food I was, it certainly wouldn't be at the start of my list of things to eat.

Mmmm Rook Pie.

Hugh Fearnly-Dunkingstool ate woodlice fritters on one prog I saw him do. He said they taste like gritty prawns.
