The beauty of Mario Kart is that if you are behind in the races you get the best weapons and items. So it even the playing field some what, there was a few races against Daz where I was leading for 2/3 laps and then he got a few magic blue missles shells and shot me down and he overtook me.

Good Driving doesn't mean you will win in Mario Kart.

I took a quick look in woolies whilst I was just in town and was briefly tempted by a silver DS with Mariokart for £90 but decided it was a silly idea, i can't afford to buy myself toys atm and it'll hardly get used.

Damn right, although on the Gamecube, I am so far ahead of everyone else, the blue missile shells dont make much difference
