I've had dozens of handsets from all of the major manufacturers, and the SLVR was the most user-unfriendly set I've tried in the last ten years by a long way.

It's Christmas, I can't do that.........I'll wait till tomorrow

W880i at £150 would still be less than buying out 9 months of contract @ £30/month though...

We all tried to talk him out of it for ages though (by some of us that have had previous incarnations of the same phone with equally disasterous results!) so a certain level of "I told you so" is acceptable

I'm no fan of the w880i either. It is better than the Motorola, but then that's no great achievement is it?

The keypad of the 880 is a pain if you text a lot, the camera isn't very good (worse when you consider its an SE phone) the OS has a few quirky features of its own and the PC suite won't let you backup your text messages.

I only used that as an example because it was used earlier in the thread I wouldnt buy one unless I specifically wanted a phone that thin.

I've got one and am less than impressed.
Glad I took it on a 12, rather than 18, month contract to be honest.

Yeah yeah You all did try and talk me out of it. However, at the time I never really used MMS and the battery life was "ok" till I actually used it

Yeah I heard its not good for txting, which is annoying. But its thin. I'm bored of fat phones. Camera isn't an issue for me The size of the Razr's keypad makes it quite nice for txting.
