S-PVA is better than a TN panel personally, better colours, better viewing angles (especially vertically) and better blacks.

I really want the S-PAV panel, the Dell is some expensive I am going to have to save very hard !

I would ask the question again in 6 months or so. From what I've read, there's a new breed of TFTs coming that are supsposed to be far superior than any TFT currently available.

Once I have build my new rig I will use my CRT monitor till these new panels come out then !

This the IPS TFTs? The colours are meant to be very good on them. I can't see myself moving from my Dell unless something really special comes along.
