Superb viewing and very moving. I manged to see this first time last year on demand.
They'll make a simular production from English perspective one day. BoB and Saving Private Ryan would have you thinking that only the Americans fought this war. Operation Market Garden was split in to 2 parts iirc: The Market was Airborne who where instructed to sieze bridges and tactical points en-route. The Garden was the British army ground forces, spearheading the advance.

I'm not sure what English perspective could be used that hasn't already been covered by The Longest Day. We had a few brilliant people and a lot of old-fashioned officers.

Great series. Another English actor I spotted but who does a pretty good Yank accent was Damian Lewis.
