I love my new Job !

I reckon I'm going to really enjoy my new job once I'm there for more than a day and not in pain. I got to see around everywhere yesterday and it looks like really interesting stuff with good potential to move about so you don't get stuck doing the same thing all the time. As I pointed out I love techy stuff,they even suggested that if I wanted to, I could get involved more with the IT Department (at the moment it's just one guy there) and learn some more, as well as possible gain some qualifications through them.
I think there's going to be a lot of options which is good
And I have to use my thumbprint to get in the office which just seems really cool to me

My sideline job doing the games reviews, I love doing It's a lot of work juggling stuff but it's satisfying and something I really am passionate about. I'd loveto turn it into a proper/full time job one day.

I'm enjoying being in a different role and the progress I'm making. however I wouldn't say I love my job. I think this is a stepping stone for bigger/better things (hopefully).

I dont dislike my job, but I dont hate it either. As Stan said, I am just content

This is certainly not what I want to be doing for the rest of my life, its just something I fell into after college when I couldnt decide what else to do

I love what I do, I've just been doing it for a while now and fancy a change of role. Deal with new people, new clients and new projects - I've basically been with one client now for 18 months - 2 years and I'm ready for something new.

I think I'll always be reasonably happy so long as I'm working with technology.

I have one of those on my laptop. Didn't ask for it, and wouldn't have specced it, but I opened it up and there it was. Even works too (sort of).

Anyway, I'm currently content. I go from loving it to getting incredibly bored and wanting to do something else - and just occasionally when we get some new policy handed down from on high I feel like I want to leave, but its turned out OK so far.

I don't like the politics though. Hasn't been much of that recently but I'm expecting a role change soon so there might be some then. The worst of the politics came when we had a load of redundancies and I was internally head-hunted and essentially told 'take this job or take redundancy'. A few weeks later I was back doing the old job (which I'm still doing to this day). A year or two later a comment slipped out and I found out soon after that the whole thing was a ruse and should never have happened . I did get an apology.

I love my job.

The managers are bloody useless and couldn't organise a piss up in the proverbial, usually means one of us gets shipped off to a station the other side of the force (still at least we get mileage for that) and we're usually short staffed.

The perks of the job suck, free uniform, as much custody food as you can eat, tea and coffe that is a crime against humanity and all the abuse you can take. Walking out the door and getting a "thanks for all your help" off the Sarge and knowing all the prisoners are still breathing means a lot.

In addition we usually get mentioned in dispatches when we take a set of fingerprints or a footprint impression that links someone to a crime scene either in Force or out of Force. Knowing youve done a little bit to get some of these toerags off the streets means a lot too.
