Snowed here for a bit yesterday but went away as quickly as it came and didn't lie - thank God.
I'm glad I'm here just now and not at work, current temperature in Alexandria, according to the interweb, is 38C

We had the same here this morning...settling all over the road too. Seems to have stopped now and the road is clearing.

Just driven through a flurry on the way back from work. And now the sky here has gone VERY dark. Think another bout is here.

Unfortunately the field where my parents stayed was also inhabited by sheep on a regular basis so there was no way i was lying down and flailing about in it!! Likewise my garden here is a cat-toilet.
I could have done it on Humphrey's bonnet though

We (Dunmow) had snow Saturday, Sunday, and today. Too little to make any difference Saturday or today, but two inches plus yesterday morning - even the roads got a good covering and there were snowball fights and snowmen in action outside.
Two hours later the roads were clear, so off we tootled to Chadwell Heath, with the amount of snowfall gradually reducing as we went. We did try to take some Dunmow snow with us but it kept falling off the car. I'm not sure the passing Essex police officer was particularly amused. Last edited by Mark; 24-03-2008 at 21:11. |

That's frost!
I can't believe it snowed on Easter Sunday. I wonder what odds you would have got for that at Christmas? Shame it only lasted in the time it took me to change in to my red thermal undies with the big pouch!
