I've got...

2 pairs proper shoes - one old and comfy the other new and not worn in yet

and trainers:

2 pairs of the same Globes - one newish and one old and haggard. <3 my globes
Another pair of different globes
one pair modern style allstars, bright blue
one pair old knackered etnies
one pair new etnies
one pair of circas

I've got my eye on at least another two pairs, as well

Oh, I've got two pairs of bike boots too! One high one short.

Oh and a pair of MX boots!

So not including bike boots, 9 pairs of shoes :/

Been wearing Converse for years. Have a black pinstripe pair for work, black denim for posh, white leather for the gym when using the rowing machine or bike, and several very old and tatty ones that I've had about 10 years ago. Even got some custom made ones done about 2 years ago.

Also have some of their limited edition ones from their Project Red range. *mmmmm - all red*

Emo - they all wear Vans or DM's around here. Usually fakes too.

I have:

1 pair of converse all stars, in navy blue.
1 pair of black shoes, relatively smartish but not particularly so, can be used for general work wear and socialising.
1 pair of smart black shoes to go with suits and whatever.

That's it. Wear them until they fall apart. My general black shoes are a new pair from a couple of weeks ago due to the previous pair having about a millimetre of sole left on them, after a good 3 - 3 1/2 years of wearing them.

I am 100% converse-less. Never even seen one 'for real' (other than on people's feet which I don't count).

I had a pair of converse, i used them for about 6 months realised they were utterly useless for walking as they give no support (they were sports shoes - made to be flexible) not water resistant (not a good thing in Scotland) and made my feet cold. Worn them when i learnt to drive as they were quite good for that then never wore them again. Gifted them to my little sister when she started learning, she has done exactly the same now she has passed.

That's all i have to say on the matter!
I never used to think much of them or see the point in buying any, then a previous gf bought a pair for me a couple of years ago and I was converted.. there is just something remarkable about them. The soles seem / feel so thin, yet they're remarkably rugged and durable.

I broke mine, there were holes in the sides within the short time i owned them. But then again i destroy trainers of any kind, there is just something about my feet. I wear away the inside of the heels and the insoles first then it really goes downhill...
