I saw 2 sets of 5 planes going past my house really low, not sure what they were.
They look a lot like red arrows but they was white with red stripes on them. very nice and was the highlight of my day yesterday |

Sounds like the Patrulla Aguila, basically the Spanish equivalent of the Red Arrows.

Just looked it up and they look like what i saw.
We get a lot of planes flying over our house at this time of year, but they have been the nicest so far. |

Ah that take off brings back some memories from Biggin Hill when I was a kid. Just looks like it's rolling along the runway, nose flicks up at 45 degrees like it's bounced off a spring and it just piles into the sky at a steep climbe. Awesome

I've never seen a vulcan take off or land but I've seen one flying several times.
I used to live within a mile of HMS Daedalus where they had air shows every year. Remember one year a vulcan did a couple of flybys over the airfield then came slowly overhead got to the middle of the airfield and basically put it's arse nearly in the ground and went almost vertical. Probably the loudest noise I have ever heard.

Full afterburner! I saw that when I was a kid, I can still feel the rumble in my chest now, just thinking about it.
