Just got back from a little drive. Great fun. I'm going to go through past paperwork as I don't think this car has done any miles for a few years. After a run through some single track roads near me I stopped and its now idleing bang on 900, maybe slightly less.
Certainly it was really starting to pull after 4k ish, previously it was going.... just not really going. If that makes any sense. He had it rolling roaded and it was around 130bhp but I'll check that later. |

That wheel is similar to the one I bought for my car (although mine was nicer looking). I like flat-bottomed wheels in cars like the MR2 because if you are tall it makes getting in and out marginally easier and on a cruise its a bit more comfortable than having the wheel right down on your legs.

What a lovely looking car I have a huge soft spot for MK1 MR2's. Looks like you've found a reasonably tidy on there. Have fun!

OMG. The MK1s are ganging up on me
Tidy looking car Matt - nice colour too I agree with Vix and Kaiowas about the air scoop and the steering wheel - neither are to my taste but if you like them, then keep them. They are head turning cars. My MK2 turns a lot of heads and the guy who floored his Audi TT after a roundabout and failed to pull away from me certainly looked impressed
