While I am not trying to discourage anyone about strip clubs. I think they tend to do loads of damage to a relationship if one of the parties in a relationship makes it a regular habit. Also apart from the dance services they offer, there are other packages that is available as well apparently. lol.

The fun is that you get to see pretty girls dancing naked in front of you.

I don't see the harm in it unless the person goes in there regularly rather and it becomes an addiction. It is not that much different than looking at porn on DVD/online.

Used to go to a strip club a fair bit last year, just because it was near the pub we went to and was free entry.

The mostly naked ladies were just a nice bonus.

GF knows that I go to them as I tell her and she doesn't mind so long as I'm just looking.

If that is the real appeal behind it, then it is flawed in my view. Paying money for something like that simple because I cannot pull such "quality" will make me question my abilities and somehow put a dent on my confidence. Take 'em or leave 'em really - times I've been it's not really a 'sexual' experience as in getting your rocks off, but hot naked birds dancing 1ft away from does look bloody good - plus in most of the venues these days it's the punters who are being exploited rather than the girls

The simplest way is that there's a line between being a group of people going to just see some naked chicks for a laugh before heading out, and the guy propping up the bar, to get his 'fix' before going home. Main difference being, the former know full well the girls are full of &^%$ when they chat to you, whereas the latter gets an ego boost.

Only times I've been are on stag-do's and I don't really see the appeal. Never had a private dance either, just seems a complete waste of cash to me.
I treat it as more of a laugh, watching some of the younger or more gullible guys taking it all in as if the girls are actually interested in them. It's quite funny to watch.
