No compatability issues? My main reason for waiting was until they got all that fixed, I think my main concern is my gfx card is quite old as I object to paying more than about £50 for one

No compatibility issues at all. However this went in a new build that I did so I would expect it to go ok.

One thing that was unexpected is that when you go into my computer, you can seem your hard drives with space allocated. The difference between the RC and the final version is that it shows a new drive called 'System Reserved' Whatever you do do not try and delete or format this

You can stop it doing that - if you really want to...

I'm the type of user that wants to have the partitions I want - not that someone else thinks I should have. I am of course in the significant minority in that respect.

I'm the same Mark, I was to control exactly where and how my HDD is split, I don't want it done for me.

Did an install yesterday and inital thoughts are, damn it's quick! But then it is a fresh install... but no issues with it being 64bit either, everything just seems to... work!

Will have a proper fiddle over the weekend, but so far so good!

Looks pretty too.

Still runs remarkably quickly on my six month+ old install

also, Amazon has dispatched my order via citylink...

I too jumped through all the hoops to get it installed without the infernal system partition.

My copy of Pro from Currys turned up yesterday morning but haven't done anything with it yet. Three more copies coming from Amazon but god knows when they'll arrive.

All that remains now is to see if the copy of Pro I installed at home nearly a month ago will accept and activate the product key from this copy that turned up yesterday. If it doesn't then I'm going to have to reinstall

Amazon just sent it via Home Delivery Network Limited, at least it's not Royal Mail like the other item they just dispatched for me. Imagine I'll get that either Friday or next month.

Thanks for the info Mark, that extra partition would drive me nuts.
