stop completely.. I hit "next" and it cuts to the menu and no sound...

There's probably a corrupt song (or maybe several) in your iTunes library. That's my guess anyway and it would make sense. Finding it, if there is one, well good luck. Best bet is probably to try and figure out if there's a pattern - would be nice if there was a way to turn off playlist shuffling (or maybe I just missed it).

Yes, but MMS are not included and charged separately. No big deal as I hardly use them anyway.
