Got them both for a tenner after trades HMV gave me £18 for COD4! (figured it's finally gonna lose it's value when MW2 drops)

Yeah it's kept its value well! Traded my copy in the other week towards Batman and got the same price in Blockbuster.

Why is everyone talking about RB2 as soon as I finally want to play it?

That update sorted it I can now turn them off, just hope the reloading trick has worked or I'll be very very annoyed!

Urgh up to Hephaestus on Bioshock on hard, suddenly all the enemies got a health upgrade

Thuggish splicers can survive a point blank shotgun round to the face, leadhead splicers now have machine guns.

I'm low on cash and have two first aid kits. Wish me luck!

Big risk if you're gonna keep trying from where you were before? Wouldn't it be better to just start again and avoid possible frustration altogether?

Rock Band 2

Once MS pull their thumb from their backside and release the patch for Lips microphones to work with RB/GH etc, then Princess Griff and I shall be wailing the house down (and thanks to Psymonkee) to even more tunes!

Quite annoying that beatles rock band, guitar hero metallica, GH5 etc all come ready configured with our Mics, and that MS have confirmed compatability patches 'will be released' but with a) no release date and b) no further information

I played RB2 yesterday for the 1st time and much prefer it to GH already; the style, tabbing and little touches I find make the gaming experience more enjoyable and less of a chore. Challenges to unlock further songs also adds an addictive element which PG and I will surely be hooked on for many evenings yet to come

I'm bouncing between several things currently, pretty much all for review purposes....

Supercar Challenge on the PS3 has been played a fair bit over the past week. It's an excellent driving game badly let down by a really poor career. When you look at the length and variety in the career of something like Forza it really does pale in comparison. Hardcore racing fans will love the actual driving though. Expect to see the review on GamesareEvil as soon as the boss checks it over

Guitar Hero 5 on Xbox 360 has also been played a fair bit. There are some excellent new gameplay modes and ideas and the game is more accessible to new players than any other game in the genre, however I think it's let down by a pretty poor set list. The ability to import songs from World Tour and Smash Hits is a welcome addition though as there are some excellent songs there.

Madden NFL 10 on the iPhone was a rush job over the weekend, but it turned out to be an excellent mobile version of Madden and I was more than happy to review it. My review can now be read here - http://theportablegamer.com/2009/09/...madden-nfl-10/

Also got Fight Night Round 4, Virtua Tennis 2009 and TNA Impact on the 360, Theme Park Madness on the iPhone, and WET on the PS3 (to arrive today hopefully) to review. If I get any time to myself between review games I'll likely just be playing the Fifa 10 demo.

It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
