Yeah it is a good price.
So what apps do everyone have. Anything really useful. Also do I have to use Itunes?

The two apps I have found most useful are the maps app that's already on there (we couldn't take the satnav in the track car the other day and it got us to our destination!) and also the RAC traffic info map which is super quick at getting information, so you can see if there is any trouble on your route. I keep checking it before I set off to and from work as it's much quicker that firing up the internet, and it keeps your location. It's free too!

Just had something weird happen with mine - I found it was silent even though the ring/mute switch was on ring. I've heard reports of that switch failing but thankfully a reboot sorted it. Odd, nonetheless.

one thing that drives me UP THE WALL is the following scenario:
*doing something* *hear message tone* *check message* *reply* *carry on doing something* *person replies* *phone vibrates but does not emit sound* Now, this can happen multiple times - so I get to my phone to see multiple text messages, or it doesn't happen at all and it *biiiings* every time I get a message. Is very annoying.

Sounds like the same (or similar) issue. Can't account for what causes it though.

Yay Iphone arrived, allready synced some apps and music. But 2 questions.
How do I get my contacts accross, i don't see any copy from sincard option anywhere. And how do i get 3g working. Assume I need some o2 settings. I have unlimited 3G usage on my plan.

For the contacts go to Settings, Mail, Contacts & Calendars then scroll down. Near the bottom is a button that says 'Import SIM Contacts'
3G should work out of the box, but go to Settings, General, Network. Check that 'Enable 3G' is on. If it is go to Celleular Data Network and see if you have anything listed in there. |

Cheers burble.
Also is it possible to make a group and select that for text messages, so it sends it to everyone in the group?

Unfortunately not. Well, not without a jailbreak.
