You know me too well I would agree that Burnout is better than PGR3 in that it's more fun, but I certainly wouldn't dismiss PGR3, it's one of the few driving games I've played to completion (on one difficulty setting anyway, not good enough to do better).

As for other games I'd recommend, they are....
  • Smackdown vs Raw 2007 (you don't need to be a wrestling fan to like it, but it helps)
  • Oblivion (may take a while to get into, but I've put 300 hours into it so far so it must be good )
  • Hitman: Blood Money (make sure you play it stealthily, it's much better that way)
  • Top Spin 2 (best tennis game I've ever played)
  • Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (like the X-Men Legends games if you've ever played them, only better)
  • Test Drive: Unlimited (play it online or offline, either way it's great when you get used to the handling)
  • Fight Night Round 3 (easy 1000 points if you want to be a score whore, plus it's the best boxing game ever)
  • Geometry Wars: Evolved (best XBL Arcade game)
I could recommend more, but I'm sure that'll be enough for you. I've got all of them (bar Top Spin 2 as I traded it in as I'd done all I needed to do) so I'm sure I'll loan you a few after Christmas

Its a great game and I enjoy playing it, its just that I forget the missions and can't stop killing zombies. Oh and the annoying photographer is no way a true reflection of real photographers I've beaten him up a few times too

It really is a game you need to put some effort into before you see real rewards. I just killed a maniacal clown juggling chainsaws while wearing a dress (not often you can say that ), gained a level and the games got distinctly harder. I'm currently trying to get two Japanese tourists out of Wonderland Plaza with little success. They keep getting surrounded and I run out of weapons to get them out, the Zombie count is huge :/

Might try that mission in North plaza instead.

I was like that as well, ended up restarting it several times, but after a while it does start to become habit, when you enter a new area you find out where the toilets are then go and save it.
