Because I got £6pm off instantly by saying I wanted to migrate out to O2 as it was cheaper. Didn't have to argue or anything - it was just 'here, have a discount'. Many others have reported the same experience.

Ah OK. Might ring them Thursday/Friday. What do I do? Just say I want a MAC to move to O2 and let them respond to my request by offering a discount?

Yes, and they pro-rate the discount, so procrastinating will cost you £1.

Students.

Well I raised a ticket on 22nd June and it validated today. But bear in mind it didn't go through the system as normal.

Only recently decided to try this with some holiday bookings through expedia. Had to raise a ticket so wait to see on that but regardless but does seem to be a bit of money for nothing

About as long as it takes to get to your bank account. Good timing.

Damn!

I'd got the threshold lower than I thought and it's just dumped nearly sixty quid into my bank, I wasn't expecting that because I'd hoped it'd go higher. I won't deny that it's a welcome bit of cash though.
