Being cold. It swamps my mind, I can't think of anything except how cold I am. Getting no work done because brain won't function.

People posting **** jokes and arguing or 'making a point' about someone in tribute threads or threads that have started that way. Sorry, I know everyone does it & not having a go (it is the irrational thread!) but it just leads a nasty taste in my mouth. Just because people are in the public eye shouldn't always make them easy targets and they have families, friends, etc. Would you want someone to do it if it was your Mum, Dad, sister, brother, husband, wife or child? The internet is global, and these things are ok because the people posting them are faceless, and so don't matter. Just imagine you had to come face to face with that person's spouse, parent or child. If everyone followed the path of 'Would I do this to their face', then of course there'd be a lot less of it happening. I just wish people had a bit more heart sometimes.

And don't give me **** about it helping people cope. If they're a Dr, Nurse, Police, Fire - yes, I get that. But for people sitting at a keyboard? Nah. Just an excuse.

I'd agree Kitten, while I can understand that particular famous people are not well liked for good reasons (or not) it isn't necessary to do it in the immediate aftermath of the persons death. There's just something a little unseemly and disrespectful to those who did have positive feelings towards the person about making certain comments at an inappropriate time.

After a suitable period or in a thread designed for somewhat more negative comments then carry on and make jokes, it's not as if anyone should be immune from criticism or humour but timing and context can be important.

Since this is doubtless stemming from the recent demise of Mr Jobs - there are many valid reasons to criticise both him and Apple as I have done in the past and probably will continue to do but now isn't the best time to have such debates so I kept my comment in that thread succinct.

The size of peoples feet varies so you get different shoe sizes. Peoples calf sizes vary so you get different width fittings........... you would think that went without saying but alas not. The worst thing is even if they only do one calf width, they don't actually tell you what it is!!

I realise some retailers do this, but the majority don't. Odd and annoying.

They way pizza delivery people make getting you your change seem like a massive hassle, presumably in the hope you'll tell them to keep it.

I'd be inclined to tip any that don't do this but i've not yet encountered one.

my fb messaging is so useless unless I log in on my laptop (sometimes not for a week or two) I dont see them...Currently i have three messages from Kelly on 3 Oct hat she didnt send me, yet Fb tells me I have 4 new messages but has nothing when I go into it. Also, I take time to compose my replies properly whereas uploading is one button can post without even logging in! However I also do this with email/texts etc, i dont reply because I want to take a bit of care over replying & then I forget. very annoying I suspect to other peeps
