Well looks like gamestation have some arcades in stock locally so think I'll be picking one of those up today or tomorrow.
Then I'll sell the refurb when I get it back.

What's the benefits of the Arcade pack against the Elite? Or is it purely down to cost? Does the Arcade have HDMI output?

I'm almost tempted to buy an Elite and put my Core with the extra bits I've bought on eBay.

Putting the black sexyness aside, practically the Elite has the 120GB hard drive, and a HDMI cable over the arcade. The arcade has the 5 arcade games and also a HDMI port (all new 360's do - the motherboard under the hood is the same across all 3 now).

... and they've sorted the 300 issue - It's now at 100 points in HD as well as SD, not sure how long for though.

Got an arcade now. It's so far a bit quieter than the old 360, and the 256mb memory card might come in handy at some point. The front feels a bit plasticky compared to my old one though.

Also doesn't seem to auto connect to XBL and it takes ages to sign in but that's probably a setting I'll find in the morning when I'm not knackered and been out all night

HDMI port will hopefully be useful in the future. With the arcade games, I already own 3 but I guess Luxor and Feeding Frenzy is a bonus.
One thing I thought of, can I still do that 10 free arcade games thing with someone? Or has that run out now?
