"**** ****** and x other friends posted about Christmas." I have selected the option to have recent stories first so why do I have to see ancient stories about Christmas at the top. Yes, I know I can view by a different list.... but I really shouldn't have to.

Tautology in signs e.g. the dishwasher in my kitchen says "100% waterproof system". Seriously? Do I have unreasonable expectations here when I think that this is surely so normal and standard it should pass without requiring explicit mention?

Or cake boxes that have "do not turn upside down" on the bottom?
Or fish dishes that say "this product contains fish" |

compensation culture is the reason for nearly all of the above! THAT annoys me full stop.

That sort of thing, yep although I'll admit that sometimes there is a good reason for food labelling to be made very explicit. I sometimes wonder why we're so determinedly trying to prevent people actually having to think about the obvious in other cases though, maybe it is just compensation culture as Kitten says but doesn't there come a point where you've just got to say "you're an idiot if you didn't expect that result"?

absolutely agree, but the law will still say people weren't explicitly informed and companies have to pay fortunes to idiots. So they treat us all like idiots :/

Ad breaks that all seem to be at the same time, so I can't flick between two programmes.
