The insistence of most bookshops (high street and online) and libraries on lumping Science Fiction and Fantasy together. By all means keep them next to each other but FFS, don't mix them together - you wouldn't mix books about physics in with chemistry books - they're different. Same goes for Sci Fi and Fantasy

I think I'm immune to traffic now - I do so many miles a month/day that I just have to grin an bare it!

The amount of roads that seem to have been resurfaced around here (hallejuah for that bit) and then the council have moved the white lines in by about 6 inches on either side, and then not put a line in the middle of the road. Its to slow cars down I know, but the amount of drivers who now seem to think that roads which were wide enough for years, and are still wide enough, are suddenly now not, and who brake whenever anything is coming towards them is ridiculous.

People who think it's ok to open sealed packaging to test make-up. I went to three different shops to try and buy a specific product (which cost £9.99) one had no stock and the other two had one left but it had been opened and used. I'm not going to spend a tenner on something that has been used by someone else. To me it's not far off stealing as they now can't sell it to anyone else.

Agree Mubs. I've written to Boots several times to ask why they don't have them behind the perfume counter and just the testers out. Always get rubbish excuses.

High street/shop pricing.
I needed a new white LAN cable and a new HDMI cable for home. Thought I'd go and support the local industry, and popped into an electronics store... 10m patch cable - £15!!!!! 2m HDMI cable - £18-£30!!!!! I mean REALLY?! Who the heck would buy cables at that price when you can get a 10m patch lead for around £2 and a decent quality and rated HDMI cable for £5??? Clearly a lot of mugs around. :/
