....my phone doesn't let you take screen shots. It's irrational as I'd only want to take shots of when I (rarely) manage to draw a cool picture in drawsomething. Which is a bit sad in itself

Who said consoles were supposed to be a quicker and more convenient way to game?
Turn on my XBox for a quick go on Forza... You must install an update or be signed out of Live - ok, go ahead, download... install... restart... Downloading an update - again? What? Hopefully, 15 minutes later, I might finally get to Forza edit - and now it won't let me access the DLC cars that I got for pre ordering, telling me I need to buy the pack but if I put in the code from the box it says it's already redeemed... ffs

The HSBC advert with the small girl and a lemonade stall saying "we believe in the future even the smallest business will be multinational" or something like that - if they'd said that they "can" be multinational then I wouldn't have a problem with it but the idea that it's inevitable that not only will every small business have the aspiration but also the ability to be multinational is just plain daft.

I've been somewhat idly looking at flat lets and wondering why so many will give you a rental price per week then say they want a months deposit and a months rent up front - it's just stupid to mix different units of measurement like that. You don't have people saying I'm 5 foot 26 centimetres do you?
It's not as if you can't just multiply the weekly price by 52 then divide by 12 but why bother specifying one if you want paid according to the other.

Parents who talk to eachother and call eachother mummy and daddy. I don't mean people referring to mummy or daddy, just I was on a plane today and the conversation between the parents went like this
"Mummy, do you want to sit with Ben and Elizabeth or do you want daddy to?" "Mummy doesn't mind sitting with them, that way Daddy can read his book" Aaargh! |
