I bought a book called 'Grammar for Grown-ups' yesterday. I just can't help myself.

To be honest, Will, I had to work bloody hard to *get* grammar and I still get it wrong sometimes. Think that's why it annoys me, because I think that if I put the effort in to try and get it right, so should other people!

Pheebs: Everyone deals with these things differently. Doesn't make one way better or worse than a different way.
What is wrong however is feeling forced to react in a certain way which it sounds like you've had to do recently! No one should be told how to feel so that's rubbish!

Agreed - it's essential to strive for perfection and improvement in my opinion.
