My Take.

I have helped a number of people cope with Cancer even my Doris, I haven't spoke much about it as I don't want no immature comments to put me on the War path & Trust me I would quite happily take a Shovel to the face of anybody that disrespects my woman or anybody else that hasn't got the decency to show a little compassion towards somebody rotting from the inside out.

For me I just read the comments & realise what Immature self absorbed **** ***** we have in the World.
They call theemselves Mature, Well Educated, even Christian in some cases but then they post Disgusting comments against a woman dying of Cancer.

I know I have been called Scum many times but I am a Whole League above these weak arsed tossers.

My woman rang me first to tell me that she will only be wearing a head scarfe & to be careful about how I looked at her etc

I feel the same. Although I really don't have an ounce of time for her this is tragic and I do hope that in spite of what has been said she does make a recovery.

What I find laughable, is the sanctimonious attitude of people who go out of their way to tell you they don't like her (interesting because unless they've met and spent time around her then they've based their opinion on what a VT editor decided to show them) and that she doesn't deserve money/fame.

So? That's what everybody does. You form your opinion by what the media tells you. If you happen to like her then that's fine, but why is it sactimonious to not have the same opinion of her as you?

Correct and they're not without blame. The "Heat magazine" culture is very very sad and in my opinion is a cancer on our culture and entertainment industry. It's spreading too. How many reality TV shows do we have now? How many phone-ins, vote based shows all designed to rake in the viewer's cash have been spawned? I bet you can't count them all.

I'm appalled that the age for smear tests was lifted to 25. A year ago I realised I hadn't been called in for a smear and that's when I found out it had been pushed back.

Spoke to the doctor I had at the time whilst in with another complaint and asked whether I should start having them as my Ma had cervical cancer at a young age.

Because I had no complaints of that area, she said no and not to worry until I was called up. Apparently under 25s had the habit of not turning up to appointments causing chaos to the system hence why they pushed it to 25.


I ended up having one anyway as I demanded one.

Think it's wrong. They should still have it for 21's and up. If they don't turn up to the appointment, penalise them. Simple.


Reference this whole kind of why should I feel sorry for a celeb than anyone else that's a bit.. .well sad really. I feel for anyone with cancer. I really genuinely wouldn't wish it upon the worst person on the world. It's such a dreadful disease. I've watched too many good people die from it - horrendous slow deaths too.

Anyone in my mind who says they don't care who has this and feels like Jade deserves it - be it because she's a celeb or what - are just evil. Pure evil. They need to be sent to a Cancer Hospice and be forced to work with people who are dying.

Makes me so angry.

Dentists fine you if you don't turn up to appointments that you have made and I agree - dr's should be able to do the same thing, but even from the age of 25 smears aren't mandatory, they are just encouraged, so no matter what the age is set at unless the law changes and it becomes mandatory then a fine wouldn't have much affect as you will just have people not making appointments in the first place

You're nit picking

Send out an appointment, it's not obligatory to attend but if you don't cancel it you will be presumed attending. If they don't, fine them.
