I watched "Goodfellas" last night. Another one i've never got round to seeing. Was very good I thought.. Nasty piece of work that Tommy!

Goodfella's is an excellent film. Recently bought Casino cheap as well actually, need to get round to watching it. Drags a bit, but I do like it.

I loved Casino Although I watched it years ago when I was probably a tad young to watch it so I may have just been keen on the violence
Have to see it again sometime.

Top Gun is great PROVIDED you are watching it to reminice about how much you liked it the fist time around, its the same with Days of Thunder for me. I loved the music and the car scenes and the OTT acting but the film itself is poor. The joy comes from the memories

Apocalypse now is my favourite film of all time, so yes its deffinately worth a watch. Don't expect your usual Holywood war film though. Its a slow paced weird one. And I see what your saying about the redux version Flibster, but I think i prefer it actually as it makes it longer, although the French Plantation scene drags on a bit too long.
