The only thing I would recommend that's not already been mentioned is the USS Intrepid Sea, Space and Air Museum. Might not be your thing but I loved it with all the old planes and technology there.

Good plan! I vaguely knew about the show but didn't realise it was recorded there until I saw the studio (it's rather obvious).
And more nights the better IMO. You've made all that effort to get there so why not enjoy it for as long as you can afford. |

You need to go to the burger joint which is the lobby of the parker meridien hotel, it's 2/3 blocks down from central park.
Catch a game or an event at maddison sq garden. Gugenheim is worth a visit. If the USS intrepid is open definitely go it's amazing.
