Mine appears to have gone back to displaying by most recent first
 Maybe they listened to the complaints. I quite like the new ticker thing.

I liked the last change, saw the sense in it.
The first day of logging in to this one, the first 3 things I saw were my updates from Tweetdeck. WTF do I want to see what I've said for!? I can see some potential though. With this greater influence on lists (and a user like me who has had people organised in lists for years) it might become possible to better arrange what you see and from who. I see it in games, but not in news. I think Adblock has something to do with it because I don't see ads either (only found out they were there when I logged in via Chrome - promptly installed Adblock there too).
