Not really bothered by Bond anymore. Got all of them up to Goldeneye
Boghopper Brosnen killed Bond for me. He was imho crap. Although the films themselves were pretty dire and the movement from practical to CGI effects hasn't done them any favours. The Aston Martin Vanish ffs.. Oh and the last 2... Die another day and The World is Not Enough.... Fast cut editing, no long shots at all. Absolutely painfull to watch. Bond for the short attention span generation. Simon/~Flibster

I almost got the part of James Bond but for the Geordie accent and the highlights.
I am looking forward to this one too. I had to pull out from the premiere as they couldn't guarantee my security from the baying mob of girls.

Never been a big fan of Bond films - probably never will be.
I enjoyed Live and Let Die - maybe it was the voodoo dancing and snakes or something. Most of the other Bond films I've watched have seemed forced and contrived - as if the writer has been forced to squeeze out another screenplay but been constrained to keep to the same formula but at the same time try to be original. The only way to go really, is to write less credible material but keep the same basic storyline: International criminal mastermind threatens the safety of the world, 007 is called to HQ, flirts with Miss Moneypenny, gets briefed by M, gets given some implausibly advanced gadgetry by Q, jets off to exotic locations, taunts bad guy, seduces/gets seduced by International criminal mastermind's concubine/right hand woman, several car/boat/plane/helicopter chases, several shoot outs, infiltrates bad guy's secret lair, gets captured by bad guy, bad guy taunts him and sets up some ridiculous contraption to kill him slowly and then leaves, aforementioned concubine/right hand woman rescues him because she's fallen for him, 007 blows up secret lair and escapes in liferaft/submarine/dinghy etc shagging newly converted ex adversary - the end. Bit trite for my tastes. Stan
