Nice spec on the new rig and nice setup in the room - and yes, you should use those idle CPUs for F@H - very worthwhile project.
I currently have 7 PCs in my bedroom (gets a bit toasty in the summer but is excellent in winter ), the noise doesn't bother me - in fact I have difficulty sleeping without them on. Those 7 are pretty much solely F@H rigs and so only have 3 monitors between them. The 3 downstairs are the ones mostly used (1 gaming rig, 1 general purpose rig and one for any colleagues staying in the flat). As it is a company flat, my privacy isn't always assured so I do tend to use one of the upstairs machines for watching 'educational' material Stan
