I've just watching a video from a french site where a guy bought a Porsche GT3, spent ages upgrading the thing (the vid was in french obviously, but I could make out intake, exhaust, turbo, springs, tyres, and weight reduction, among others), spent just as long with the visuals (colours, decals, vinyl), then take it around a track to test it. The car shifted something fantastic, until the last corner when he took it too wide, slammed into the tyre wall, and removed both his front and rear bumpers in one fell swoop. The game looks smegging fantastic
Edit: On second viewing his left wing mirror comes off as well. All debris stays on the track too

Interesting. I'm not much of a designer but I'd certainly be willing to give it a go, especially considering the prize.

Che (one of the guys working for Turn 10) has confirmed that people with racing wheels should get ready for tonight. As they're over in the US, I can only assume that the demo will go up at some point overnight (or very early morning) and we'll be able to get it tomorrow. I'll be coming home at lunch to kick off the download if it's not ready before I go to work
