Try adding an exception into windows firewall or better still download the much better zonealarm from zonelabs.com

STILL no joy.

Anyone suggest anything else to try? Except buying a proper router.

I'd have gone with the no firewall at all option before trying ZA.

How about some screengrabs of the interface you're using to set the port forwarding so we can see what's going on.

Ok, now full of chicken and caesar salad, here goes.

Where the forwarding rules are applied

The forwarding rule for port 5667

As you can see in the first pic, it's been applied.

And this is the bit you get to when you click on 'Custom Forwarding' in pic 1, but I don't know what goes where...
