If it starts like this:
Spoiler Alert! - Highlight below to read! Chapter 1: Secrets Unraveled Harry slowly raised his head and stared morosely at the familiar visage of number four, Privet Drive. End Spoiler Alert! Then it's the version written by Melindaleo and is fanfiction. Incidentally, your mobile number you posted ages ago doesn't work any more, Mr. Dust. I tried texting earlier and it bounced.

not a happy chappy!!
For the previous 2 books I've bought them on the day of release and then locked myself away with a large pot of coffee until I've read it through. This Saturday I have to drive up to Brum for a family gettogether on Saturday and Sunday so no reading time Guessing that Sunday night will be a long one |

Yes you're right it will bounce, it still exists but its been blocked since i had a drunken phone losing incident (among worse things) on holiday in tenerife. T-Mobile are still larking around and not sending me a new one... So as it stands its still blocked . My facebook and msn explained it over this week (yeah i've actually been signed on for once!) so the force is weak in you feek! //Edit: In fact i'm gonna ring them up again right now and ask whats going on! I bet that's caught a lot of people out - It's not badly written but there are far too many Americanisms in it and it's so obviously not the style of JKR. The thing which stands out the most is the way the author has the kids swearing from time to time and it just doesn't work. Americans don't know how to swear in English.
"The bloody ****er does look like a ferret." and "Come on," he said, panting. "Come and get me now, you bloody ****er." and "You prats have no idea what you’re getting into." etc etc etc. Understood about the phone, bah

I wouldn't catch onto that since i havent read the last 3 books or however many. But you're right the swearing isn't very english so speak.
And yeah phone sucks, i'm sorely missing out being able to keep in touch with people, and i've gotta get all my numbers again! Why oh why didn't i back up?! |

"No dear, I'm sorry that I can't jump your bones on Friday evening, I've got to go to a bookshop to get the new Harry Potter book. Hello, hello. Bah, she hung up."

Rhiannon said JKR will never do another Harry Potter book after this?
I'm not a fan of the series but I have to commend her for that, there's a major opportunity to milk it and release more books and films, but she's ending the story where it should. Good on her.

She's already got more money than she knows what to do with so I very much doubt she'd ever need to milk it. I saw an interview with her on Jonathan Ross the other week and IIRC she said that the series finished in a very definitive way and she had no plans to write another book but wouldn't discount the possibility alltogether. |
