34R is pretty much right for me, or 34 waist 32 leg if it has a leg measurement so it's not too tough...

Where I struggle with is shirts - they design shirts by neck size usually hence 18" usually is made for larger people so I have to tuck 20square feet of shirt into my trousers! I've ripped shirts on the back of my arm seem which sucks.

I can't say I feel your pain Sinead as my "issues" aren't as bad as yours I guess but I do know clothes shopping is a pain.

That would be lovely, Thanks Lom

I can get nice stuff from DP or Next but neither of them are in town and aren't cheap :/

I would love to be able to get some jeans from the likes of peacocks but I can't .. ARGH !!!

LOL. I just had a look at the ladies section of a shop I use. I easily found Jeans in 27" and 29" but not 28". If that's any use let me know and I'll give you the links (mail order or shop in Freeport btw).

Being tall and skinny ain't much fun for getting clothes either, not quite as bad as Dymetrie but I'd normally be wearing 32-34 or 32-36 (these are sort of compromise sizes for me) and having to use a belt to keep the jeans up.

I sympathise! Difficult to find the happy medium.

I'm guessing the haddock the size of Gibraltar's fishing quota made you need the 32" again?
I was comfortable with 32" but recent exercising has reduced my belly, which is where most of my fat seems to sit. And that fish!

Sucks not being able to find stuff the right size. It doesn't matter if I'm fat (atm) or slim (before) my proportions stay the same and it's all wrong for most shops. Hipster jeans were a godsend, for a change I could get jeans that fitted (normally to get jeans I could get my bum in would mean the waist was huuuuge). Fitted shirts and dresses were always a no no as they were always the wrong shape. Bravissimo are great and I can get stuff that fits now but it's pretty expensive and the range is far more limited than other shops.

I feels your pain Piggy *hiugs* hope you can find some nice petite clothes from the links posted

I'm quite lucky in that respect, i'm somewhere between 32/30 30/30 generally which i think is a highly stocked (but popular) size in most clothes stores. Only problem is its the first thing to go in the bloody sales annoyingly...
