Your Team?
Chelsea. Why? Because my best mate Graeme supported them. For How long? 37 years. First game? Norwich away when i was 7 with my step dad. We were 3 nil up at half time & drew it 3-3 at final whistle, felt like we'd lost tbqfh. Saw my first football violence as well. Some copper battered this thug right in front of me. Most memorable game? My first match of course. Wilkins got his Balls sponged right in front of me Worst game? Losing to Leeds back in the day Fav player? Peter Osgood or Peter Bonetti. What of your team now? We Pawn Russian style |

Your Team?
Manchester Unuted Why? Was born about 10 miles away from Old Trafford. All the family support United so I wasn't going to upset the apple cart For How long? Nearly 30 years now First game? '83 when a Barcelona side including a certain Diego Maradonna were humbled by Bryan Robson & Frank Stapleton Most memorable game? Lots of 'em but here's a few Probably the derby at Maine Road in the 90's. Siddy were 2-0 up at Half Time and we won 3-2 with Keano getting the winner. Nou Camp 1999. The real treble accept no imitations League Cup against Liverpool in '90 iirc. We had just been battered 4-0 at Anfailed with a Beardsley Hat Trick and we drew Liverpool in the cup. We won 3-1 with Hughsey scoring a screamer of a volley from about 30 yards out Worst game? 4-0 as above Fav player? Le King What of your team now? Football has changed a lot since I started watching it. I used to travel up and down the country watching United and had a season ticket for a good 15 years. Back in the 80's it was a sport. Nowadays its a consumer product wrapped up into a nice little package. I still support United and am still as passionate now as I was back then but its just too damn expensive. I think were still very lucky to have Ferguson as manager as he tries to play football the right way. We have the luxury of a manager who accepts that he has obligations to play football in a certain attacking way. Im not one to jump on the back of the Glazers like some of the fans. yes they have saddled us with a load of debt but its being managed and if wasnt them it would be some bugger else |
