What a waste of good money.

If Picky had £500 to spend on me though I would hope he would buy me a DS, sat nav and some doovds.

The rest we could buy a HUGE take away with! Nom nom nom!

Though if I had to pick flowers or charity.... it would, without hesitation, go STRAIGHT to cancer research.

Personally wouldn't, but also it's bonus month in banker town so there'll probably be a few being purchased round these parts...!

Suppose it's all relative really, if you get a £10k bonus then £500 on some roses for the OH isn't that much!

I almost get the impression that they're aimed at the kind of person who'll buy them because of how much they cost rather than in spite of it.

If money was no object sure why not? As my financial situation stands, no chance. For a start they don't look that great, I've created nicer bouqets at florists before, secondly it seems more about "look at the cost" rather than "look at the thought and care and love that has gone into chosing these flowers".
