Argh! Sorry, I didn't see this thread.
I'm embarrassed now Um, well howdy - I recognise a few faces from The SPS of course - which is where I came from. I was never a member of Overclockers, I suspect many of you probably were/are. I'm 23, an Australian living in England long-term, darn Sarf in Hampshire in a very twee village. For now I work in Customer Service for a software development house, hopefully the winds of change will carry me elsewhere soon though. Interests I suppose are music (rock, all flavours, and classical) film/movies and sport (I'll be heading straight to the 6 Nations thread from here ) Thanks to Piggy for the invite, sorry to Goose for pinching your username, now where's the bar, my round! |

LIES! It's the SAS or SBS. There is no SPS in the British Army.

I haven't lived there in a long time now - family are in Sydney, North of Coffs Harbour in Grafton (not v big) and in a rural town called Yass, about 50km out of Canberra. So all down the East coast really. We go back and visit when we can, but for all intents and purposes now I consider myself to be dual nationality. I've even lost my accent, too many years at public school in the UK!

Hurrah! I'm out in the sticks between Basingstoke and Winchester. Near the A31 if anyone has the pleasure of using it

I got mistaken for a aussie rules player or something. There was a school trip staying in my hotel and I got a knock on my door at about midnight. When I opened it there were three girls who suddenly looked a bit embarassed and one said 'You're not from the ACT at all, are you?'
