I had a Barclays one which caused so much inconvenience I got it cancelled. The only issue now is I cannot access online banking at all because I've requested my details to be sent many times over the past 5-6 months and only received one code which didn't work. With it being a student account I withdrew the max overdraft I could kept in savings and just use a current account for banking now.

To be honest as annoying as they are sometimes I'd rather have the hassle with the security than without.
I had huge delays actually being able to use mine (only the joint bills account had a compatible card and it took about 6 weeks to get a pin after they sent me a new card and no pin) but was able to use the phone system in the interim which had a real person, speaking english, and was fairly quick to connect. That's with natwest, still not got one for my other accounts yet but if you do need to transfer the phone guys can do it with a couple of digits /charts from your pin/pw and the card number. |
