One bloke has a scrap one. Good condition but it's still going to be about £600. Getting towed away tomorrow hopefully.
Ford wanted £1,600 !!

Looks like at last we have it fixed. I found a really helpful car mechanic who was willing to search around for second hand gear box. Came in Yesterday and job done (£500 for part and fitting). Cars being MOT's today so hopefully back by the end of the day.
Chaps name is Will and his number is 01245-547050.. Well recomended. We are seeing two new cars tomorrow so hopefully we'll see the back of this one.
