It was The Pixies but I've seen them twice now.

Yes! I was in my first year at University in Surrey, and a friend bought me a ticket. I had only heard 5 or 6 of their tracks, I had no idea what to expect, but the whole show just blew me away. Sadly we had seating tickets, although nobody sat down past the first 15 seconds of the performance. JMK has been an inspiration for me since, I was a vocalist in a rock group for a while and he was essentially the singer who I most idolised. But at Hammersmith, the whole band were electric - the atmosphere resonated for hours after we left the venue. Giving me the heebie jeebies just thinking about it now!

It's a small world
I very much knew about APC having been into Tool for quite some time. It was only by luck that I noticed they were touring so bought tickets for (I think) 4 gigs and astonished by just how good APC were live. I don't think I'll ever forget how emotive Maynard was. The Cambridge gig was marred a bit by muppets moshing to Orestes. I mean, Orestes? |

Queen and Creedence Clearwater Revival
I know he's not a band and still sometimes makes the odd (odd being the operative word) appearance but I would of liked to have seen Michael Jackson perform at his peak. |

Good call!
I'd go with Jimmy Hendrix as well and Bob Marley and JRV.

Jeff Buckley, although he wasn't 'a band'.

Zeppelin, fingers crossed they do another gig but I don't see it happening. Queen, The Who...
There are also some bands who I donn't really like much but think would put on a good show. I remember seeing Thrice a couple of years ago and I don't really like much of their music but for some reason, live, it was fantastic and I loved it.
