14 hours for a single playthrough according to my save file, though it can be done quicker as I tend to take my time and explore everywhere when I play a game like that. You can't get all achievements on a single playthrough though, you need at least 3 if you want to try to get the full 1k (which is achievable if you're good enough at the game).

That's pretty much what I was hoping for, so that's good. And I got far too many pairs of boxers for Xmas, so some of those need wearing in, which I'm sure Dead Space will do.

What a fantastic game this was. For me it's the best survival horror game I've played. Stunning graphics, the best lighting I've ever seen in a game, a very well implemented story, great enemies. It's hard to fault anything really, and that's amazing, even the length of the game is spot on.

It also has the rare progression of a game where the levels often surpass the one before it.

Got it on the PC. Superb title as I said but it does get stupidly repetitive towards the latter levels, especially with the repeated use of rehued existing monsters and the whole 'oh noes I has lost a toilet handle, issac go find one' attitude to it. It got extremely predictable towards the end for me so I was glad it ended when it did.

Overall, a superb game that did make me cack myself a lot. Damn stunning engine from EA too, which surprised me heaps. I'm still kicking myself for not getting it on the 360 for easy single player achievements.

It's only ~£20 now Kainz. At the rate you give good technology away £20 should be nothing .

Quite tempted to look at getting it since my last 'new' 360 title iirc was Saints Row 2 and Gears 2. Hardly use my 360 for gaming anymore either.

I do love the DS trailer though, especially the music. It's on the marketplace and will reside on my HD forever

I got to around chapter 4/5 before moving on to some new games I should really get back to it as it was a stunning game. Amazing graphics and a atmosphere that would make the hardest man crap his pants!

I got to Chapter 5 very slowly, almost 1 chapter every 5 days or so. From 6 to 12 I did in 24 hours, I felt that it was paced so well that the last half becomes a total rollercoaster ride, which was brilliant.
