See it all the time where people seem to spend their lives sitting about and wonder how you manage to fit in all the things you manage to do. What a waste.

Getting looked down on by people at work because I don't want to play sport in this weather. I appreciate that you find it nice to sit outside because it's hot and sunny, but I really don't cope well in the heat, so playing sport in it for several hours is the last thing on my mind at the end of a work day.
To then get further berated for not doing exercise at all really got to me, despite doing 3-4 hours of stuff on the kinect each week, which apparently isn't real exercise as i'm not socialising. I also didn't play football/rugby/tennis as a kid because it seems 'unbelieveable'. Smeg off. The above was all from a person who looks like the last exercise they did was learning to walk. I acknowledge i'm not in the best shape i've ever been, but i'm at least trying to get better (half a stone since June 1st).

Lots of people hit out at others because they are chronically insecure and putting you down makes them feel like they're doing better themselves. You do whatever you're comfortable with and don't feel bullied or put down because someone else makes out they know better what you should be doing with your life. It's the same with some people who literally 'become' their hobby - they start doing something and you literally hear nothing else, it's just whatever they are into at the time, be it babies, exercise, whatever...often they have nothing else in their lives/are filling a gap or replacing an unhealthy obsession with a healthier one so have to fill it with what quite literally becomes an obsession rather than a healthy interest - and if you're not interested in it, they're not interested in you. They kind of lose their identity, what makes them *them* completely and become a facet of their interest instead.

Chris - Get your ass down here and we'll kinect it up! Anyone who says kinect is not exercise is a fool... 45mins a day I'm doing and I'm a sweaty lump of breathlessness at the end of it! Plus it's doing wonders for my knee!
That + yoga (anyone who says yoga is poop too isn't doing it right) = awesome exercise *hearts Your Shape and Dancey games and yoga* Miss choo cowboy! |

Mixer taps that don't mix. If it's only going to provide separate streams of hot and cold water then just give me separate taps and I'll work it out for myself.

Our weather seems insistent on being either completely miserable or too hot to be able to work/play properly without drinking 48 gallons of water an hour!
