Heh, I was just saying the same to Dee. If she wasn't here, I'd likely just stay up for ages trying again and again until I nailed it. I'm a stubborn ****
Staying off the expert career for a bit though until I (hopefully) do it. There's no one bit of the song I cant do, it's just stringing it together for 1000 notes. Reached about 700, but soon after that it returns to the familiar riffs which are exactly the same as they are at the start. I know I can do this.

Hahah, you're like me with Freebird. I could do every section, it was just combining them into one perfect run
If I can't do it after a few goes tonight I might go back down to Hard and try 5*'ing some songs there. I've got the game to have fun, and if I'm not enjoying myself by failing I might as well play some stuff I like and try to improve my scores at the same time

I kinda got to that point last night. I wasn't enjoying it, and that's kinda the point isn't it? Achievements showing their negative side perhaps.
Not sure if you saw this, but do you know if achievements can defo be unlocked in quick play?

Aye, achievement hunting can be a real drag at times, even more so if you know it's something you can actually get, but silly mistakes here and there are holding you back.
As for quick play, I would be very very surprised if you can't unlock the achievements in quick play. I've done everything in career mode though (so any improvements reflect on my career score too) so I can't say for 100% certain.

Hahahaha, Crazy On You, eat my 3 stars bitch!! I'm now never playing that song again, and I can devote my time to trying to beat Freya instead
About sodding time I got past it. Almost lost it twice but star power saved me at just the right time.

Played dude
Tonight I'm playing for fun, little if any expert career progression, going for high scores instead. Starting with Killing in the Name of, and trying to nail those insane strumming requirements

If/when we do get past Freya, this is what's waiting for us - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_j5z...elated&search=
Looks like fun, but do-able with some practise

Right, I've posted some mental videos, but this one takes the cake, biscuit, the entire damn buffet. It's from the PS2 version of GH2, where enterprising peeps have figured out how to put their own custom songs on (the method can be found on the scorehero.com forums). I've never seen anything like this. I think it actually surpasses Jordan in terms of difficulty - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Dw98...e=user&search=
