Domino
0.1/10 appalling film. Poetic speeches, artistic camera shots on a move like that please. Big pile of steaming poo. As well as a stupid story line.

Transporter 3
I'm disappointed. The fight scenes were badly shot. Poor editing throughout. I've seen more sexual chemistry between the players in a darts match. Far too much of the completely impossible to make it even remotely realistic. The whole movie felt thin, and I loved the first and second movies. 5/10 |

Wall-E
Wonderful story, beautifully told. Watched this on BluRay, lights off, speakers up and from start to finish i was glued to the screen. I went into this movie knowing nothing about it, not even seen the trailer and it went from sad beginning to all the lights glitter in the middle and then a very touching finale. All sprinkled with loving moments through out the movie, I haven't been this impressed with an animated feature since Toy Story 2, but even that wasn't as touching as Wall-E. Who knew a character with no dialogue can convey across so much emotion with those lenses for eyes? 9/10 (I would give it 10 but that would mean it is perfect....its close, but not perfect) Last edited by Mondo; 17-12-2008 at 01:06. |

Independence Day
Will Smith Bill Pullman Jeff Goldblum et al. 9/10 Classic cheese film. Good sci-fi yarn, well acted by all parts who seem to be generally just having a good time together. Has one of the best motivational speeches ever in it. Only shame is it's so pro-USA.

Those 14 frames made the MPAA try to rate the film a NC-17, which would have killed it. Kevin Smith appealed the rating and won, so it got turned into a R rated film. ![]()
