No probs on the roads home tonight, but it was a white out after I'd set off this morning. Still a good 3" of snow on the gardens and fields though. Very pretty

Just been out the front Josh was playing with his mate next door and it came over the top of their wellies its so bloody deep, so glad they didn't go in it this morning as it would have been above their knees.
Hopefully snow will be good enough to build snowmen tomorrow so they can play. The road is mental and cars can't get any further than our house. One van almost hit our car as he tried to reverse back after trying to get top the street past our house. Its funny watching people trying to get up streets that you can tell is impossible lol Just hope you can get home Faysh :/ |

Today we closed Luton, Wellingborough, Northampton, Milton, Bristol, Milton Keynes, you get the picture!
Don't think the Wellingborough drivers even left the depot today. They'll have 3 days worth of freight to try and delivery on Monday....

One guy I work with left Oxford for Banbury this morning after a night shift and had to abandon his car part way home.
Hope I can get home....

Think Banbury got hit hard, apparently at 7am it was fine and by the time one of our guys decided to leave he changed his mind. Given he'll probably be forced to take it as holiday...

We can haz grit! Thanks Medway Council.
Newbury got hit hard too. The A34 was a complete disaster area with jack-knifed lorries and people in queues for three hours to get a few miles. Nowhere near as much snow as Banbury had though judging by those pictures. |
